Frequently Asked Questions

What is Assisted Living?

Assisted living provides a balance between independent living and professional support. At HOPE Residential Assisted Living, we offer services such as daily meals, 24-hour staffing, housekeeping, laundry, medication management, and personal care assistance. Our goal is to help residents maintain their independence while ensuring they have the support they need for daily activities.

How does Assisted Living differ from a Nursing Home?

Assisted living facilities like HOPE Residential Assisted Living focus on providing support for daily living activities while allowing residents to maintain a level of independence. In contrast, nursing homes offer more intensive medical care and supervision for individuals with more significant health needs.

While we do not have full-time doctors or nurses on staff, our caregivers are trained in elder care and are available 24/7. Residents may continue seeing their current physicians or choose to be seen by our visiting physician.

Residents have access to various medical professionals, including doctors, dentists, audiologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and wound care specialists. We also offer home health and hospice services, as well as up to 30 days of skilled nursing.

Can residents bring their pets?
